Epic Cartoon Movie , 2013

Hello ! As the heading says , I went to watch Epic today !
Here's a poster for the movie in case u haven't seen it
The creators are from Ice Age and Rio! If u like watching Ice Age, this movie is definitely a plus for u.
Personally I don't prefer to watch cartoon movies but rather real acting instead.
After watching the movie, I really loved the plot even though it's a little unrealistic, but hey, that's why it's kinda cartoon-ated :D
Here is a short and half-ed summary plot for u:
Mary Katherine (a.k.a. M.K.) went to live with her father after her mom died. Her dad who is a professor has been searching for tiny human soldiers, about which M.K. is skeptical.
One day while MK was searching for her cute pug, Ozzie, she sees a dying queen of the forest, Queen Tara. Tara had to choose a new heir to the forest to be the queen today but she was injured while trying to escape from the bad guys who prevented her from choosing a new heir. Using magic to shrink MK, she then finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil is taking place.
I don't want to spoil any further ! But this movie is a must watch ! In fact there are some parts which are quite sad :(
Plus .. One of the voice actors is .. Amanda Seyfried! She's the female main lead voice acting as MK.
She was the one in les miserables too. Her singing was unbelievable too, I thought she couldn't sing until she was starred in les Mis

I went to Orchard Cineleisure to watch Epic today with my bear ZK :)
Before that we were at peninsula buying a new case for his guitar. Then we had to take the mrt to Somerset. Sigh .. Transport fees these days. Can rob a person until he/she is poor LOLS
We went to buy the tickets first and there was a super long queue at the 5th floor of cineleisure. Apparently, the 4th floor is renovating for the platinum suite that will be coming very soon.
Since we both were famished and ZK wanted to go eat the newly EighteenChef that was opened recently , we decided to omnomnom there before the movie started.
The branch now is Cineleisure was previously from Simei as the whole of Simei shopping center shutdown , then relocated to cineleisure .
I don't have any picture of the food since we were both too hungry D: I shall remember to take them before spoiling the whole image LOLS
I think EighteenChef food is not bad and veryvery affordable due to the student meals that they charge !
My dinner was a Cheese Baked Pasta in Black Pepper sauce with Chicken sausage , Scrambled eggs and Minced Beef . It tasted really yummy and only cost around .. S$12 plus ? I think the prices have increased a bit since then .
But there isn't any 10% GST charged only 7% , isn't that good enough !
When we reached the cinema ZK couldn't find the theatre hahas ! So cute :D
I guess that marks the end of my post , hope u find the review helpful and interesting and would make u wanna watch the movie too !
